Case Study

167 Green Street

Project Overview

International Test & Balance was hired as a design build TAB partner to complete the multi-functional space known as 167 Green Street.
This unique building is home to a full-size professional basketball training facility, as well as multiuse commercial office spaces, and an art gallery.
But the centerpiece is the glass-enclosed basketball court with sweeping views of the city’s skyline, a building feature that unexpectedly has become a must-see practice venue for NBA teams in town to play the Chicago Bulls.

Located in Chicago’s Fulton Market District neighborhood, 167 Green Street is the first multi-tenant office building in the United States to offer all tenants building access through employee badge in Apple Wallet. 167 Green was developed by Shapack Partners and Focus, alongside real estate investment firm Walton Street Capital. The technological deployment for 167 Green’s Apple Wallet integration was done in close collaboration with Sharry, a European PropTech company, and HID Global, a worldwide leader in secure identity solutions.
