Project Overview

As the Commissioning Authority, NEI performed a CX design review, reviewed submittals & control sequences, led coordination meetings, managed the startup & testing schedule, performed site observations, wrote installation & functional performance test forms, witnessed system & equipment startup activities, witnessed back check of testing, adjusting, & balancing (TAB), witnessed controls verifications & calibrations, performed all CX testing, maintained the project CX Issue Log, reviewed RFIs, confirmed system operational efficiency,  indoor air quality, and occupants comfort, and documented the successful performance of the facility via submission of CX Final Report. The team confirmed that training improved the facility management staff’s knowledge of the design and performance of the building HVAC system.
